Just thinking back on some great cars that are not around anymore. Of course there's the Forbrook 5, Hamiltons 77, Dyers 461 Brickmobile and Wieckert's 29. Bill Vielhauer's 12$ comes to mind with a lot of great drivers. Karl Kinser is sorely missed. Lets hear some more....

Doug Wolfgang is always missed as a driver regardless of the car.

At least we still see it at the Ultimate Challenge, and it is still sharp!
If this post isn't results, stories or something c
constructive, it isn't me!

Warren Johnson U2, Dave Helm 11H, Wahlie 1W, Harble 15 - lots of good cars that were in the sport for a long time are no longer, and that's not a good thing.

Never forget it, Paul. Another unknown, at the time, was Max Dumseney . Gave Wolfie all he wanted in the Race of States.
How about the 7TW, 8TW,9TW. In the mid 90's Joe Gearte came in with a motor he'd shaved every last ounce off of. I think he even had the water pump and alot of extras stripped off. Trashed the motor but I think he did set quick time. Might have crashed in the heat. Heard rumor that the car was just over 1000lbs.

That was the 3DB (3 Day Blinds) car based out of Cali... beautiful car. Yes, quicktime, then flipped in his heat. Didn't destroy it though, and earned enough pts the rest of the night to put it in the B on Saturday.
