Sprint Cars, Sprint Cars, and More Sprint Cars!
The Wright One winged injected sprint cars make their return to the Chowchilla Speedway on August 22nd, also on the card that night is one of the most competitive classes in the Western United States, the non-winged injected Bandit Sprint cars.
The under card includes the Spec Sprint cars, the Valley Sportsman, and the super competitive 4-Bangers. This will be a great night featuring some of the hottest talent racing today in the two heavyweight main events, and the sports future stars racing in the under card events.
"We have continued to improve the racetrack and we look forward to the return of the sprint cars. We have had our best race tracks during the last three weeks of racing and I think we should see some great two and three wide action this weekend. Super Modifieds at Madera last weekend, now we have winged sprint cars at Chowchilla this weekend, it does not get much better than this in open wheel racing" Kenny Shepherd.
Everyone will receive a discount on their ticket as prices have been dropped by five dollars! Adult tickets are just $15 for the event and youth are $7. Kids five and under get in for free.
Pit gates open at 3:00pm, grandstands open at 5:00pm, and racing starts at 6:00pm! Checkout racechowchilla.com for more information.

daveyboy,
Three Cory Kruseman cars. I think it will be 16 y/o Tyler Edwards from Oklahoma in the 41k, Jay Waugh from New Zealand in the 0k, and Hobie Conway in the 29k. Hobie finished 6th at SMS this week. She also qualified 6th and did great in the main considering the sway bar bracket fell off as she was getting pushed off to start. It was an all female front row. Hobie and Justyne Hamblin. Not sure if that has ever happened before. I was very impressed the way Hobie used skilled driving to battle Danny Sheridan, Greg Alexander and other talented drivers.
