ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (August 16, 2009) – Sunday night's scheduled opening leg of the Fifth Annual Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless Midwest Swing at Rapid Speedway has been cancelled due to heavy overnight rains.
With Sunday's rain out, the 2009 edition of Sprint Bandits TNT will kick off with Monday's Husker Nationals at Nebraska Raceway Park's I-80 Speedway before moving on to Oklahoma for a pair of events, including a stop at Oklahoma City's State Fair Speedway on Wednesday night followed up by a Thursday card at Creek County Speedway near Tulsa.
The week will conclude with Lakeside Speedway's annual $10,000-to-win tilt on Friday and Saturday in Kansas City, KS.

Yea right,
ASCS/Bandit whatever got cancelled because Knoxville got delayed.
Huset's is running but there's no 410 show tonight because of Knoxville. The weather there is great.
There's an Elvis Presley movie on TV. This reminds me, wasn't there supposed to be an ASCS race at some track in Indiana? Did Elvis leave the building or is Emmett selling "ghost races"?
Just curious as I was thinking about Elvis on this special day in Elvis history.
