We had a good night of racing. The feature race in the mini stock division was the best of the year. Tyler Webb, Casey Henning, and Dustin Southlerland battled upfront throughout the race. Henning passed Webb with 2 laps to go and Webb regains the lead on the last lap and noses Henning out at the line.

For the hardcore sprint car fans, the Barksdale/Sellers heat was great racing with both drivers using every line on the track. Barksdale dominated the feature with a challenge from Bloomquist.

C.A. Nix was dominant again in the mods, but it sure is nice to see the out of town drivers Penrod and Anderson in Lawton again. Both of those drivers and Jason Hilliard were impressive in the feature.

Aaron Anderson was leading the limited feature, but pulled off the track during a yellow on lap 9. It was funny watching the cars follow him off the track during the yellow not realizing he was on his way to the pits. The Texas drivers Robinson and Nelson were the best cars at the end of the feature. Robert Elliot would have challenged, but was hit on lap 9 to cause the yellow. He then was hit later and pulled off. It could have been really competitive if the Whitworths and Buntins had been able to make the trip.

I didn't hear any complaints about the track, but am curious what some of the other fans and drivers thought about the racing tonight.
