This is geared more towards the racers and crews.

In years past at Nats, most teams would bolt on a D15 or even a D12 for the feature. I have to wonder if running 40 laps is going to cause problems.

We've all seen the deals where the track lays rubber and guys keep blowing tires. Does anyone know if hoosier brought some really hard tires this week?

I will go out on a limb and predict some really good racing tonight if the track slicks off. If guys have an SC25 on the RR, they're gonna have to drive them instead of flat footin' it.

Tire wear is always an issue no matter the number of laps!!! of course depending on your starting spot some people are going to go soft and others hard and hope!!! I think the weather and a PIT STOP are goin to be a bigger factor than the tire wear!! just my thougths.......
