I was logged in at 7:00, patiently waiting, but was positive I had a front row seat. I heard the testing at 7:08. I heard the minutely countdown from 7:30 to 7:35. Then it was live (AC/DC in the background). I heard, "live from studio E atop" and that was it. I've been without since. I find it amazing that with everything that travels over the web, that a few thousand people can't listen to a radio broadcast. I'm not saying this is the only one either.
Same here but if it's raining it's a moot point. Popped my first beer open at 5:30 and I'm visualizing being there without the sound.
Holy smokes, I must have turned the sound up and forgot to turn it back down. A dailup sound came on and I about lost it. Don't scare me like that, I'm an old guy!
KNIA/KRLS was on a phoneline in the HoF that is dialed directly to the FM studio. That intern is streamed (digitaly) on the net. The phone sound you hear is the landline that they use to call the studio on. I don't think a lot of people know this but they can stream up to 4 things at one time. Comes in handy we they do 4 football games this fall on Friday nights.
