The races are still on for tonight. Rumor has it that Shatz, Dollansky and Saldana will be there!

Storm ran us out of the campground last night, but things look good right now. Sun just came out. Looking forward to racing tonight.

FYI.

There was a post earlier about the road construction on the east side of the fairgrounds, but this post may get more hits.

You cannot access the fairgrounds from the road on the east side. You can either turn N. at Caseys for two blocks, and then turn east and enter the southside of the campground, or you can turn at the first road east of the "Fairgrounds" sign on 92 and go three blocks North and then turn back west and enter at the main entrance to the fairgrounds.

Not sure where the haulers are going to be staged.

Here's the text from Chels earlier post. Has more detailed info for the out of towners who are directionally challenged Smile

There is construction around the racetrack so you need to go past the fairground sign on highway 92 to north H. Which is the next street stay on that til G Ave west and that will take you strait into the front of the fairgrounds. Once you get into the fairgrounds go back past the pavillion and the pit gate is back there in turn four. Fyi for those of you who know how to get around the backside of the fairgrounds you can't that road is a mess too... I can't believe no one has told all of you outta towners about this!

Rigs you probably should come way early that's the only gate into the fairgrounds open...
