I swear time flies until you get within a week of the Nationals. This has to be my least productive time at work because I am counting the seconds to the sight of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame, the taste of Iowa pork tenderloins, the smell of burning methanol and the sound of 800hp motors at full song.
God help me, I love it so.
Is this heaven?

Oh boy you aint kiddn, on the outside im trying to care, deep in the core, im thinking, awww Knoxville,foamy Duffs beer,well (kinda like Homer Simpson) Im not leaving untill Tuesday night for the 410's, but still, the countdown must begin! see you there!

To help me get through the week, I will drive 312 miles on Thursday...Hop on a plane and fly 2500 miles...Then Drive another 150 to play 56 holes of golf on Friday. Saturday I'll drive another 150 in order to play 36 holes then catch a local track despite sprint cars being away. Sunday, a little more golf and loading the RV for the start of PHASE II of the trip. Monday leave for Knoxville...another 1000 miles driving and we are in the sprint car capitol of the world!!!! Four days of pure bliss. Love the NATS!!!

Anyone wanna trade I live in Osky and can hear the USMTS on the track acrossed town right now. But I'm stuck inside doing homework & I have finals next week gotta love summer classes! Still planing on going to at least 5 of the races.. Grades might not be quite as good as normal! lol
