Are the 9 and 19 still Mopar engines?
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I believe it's just the opposite. The 9 for sure had a new Don Ott motor on Saturday night, I can't say what the 19 had but both cars looked completely different prior to being rained out just prior to the dash.

Dollansky had a Rider engine from Mechanicsburg, Pa in the car @ Williams Grove on Friday night. Not sure about Saturday because it got rained out and not sure what kind of engine was in the car in Canada. But he has been running well lately, hasn't he???????

Saldana has won quite a bit this year with the Speedway Mopars... makes me wonder what's up here. Falling out? No more free parts from Mopar? Reliability? Business relationship issues?
Point being... the motors sure haven't appeared to be a weakness on the 9 car this year. Maybe upon closer look they won IN SPITE of being a little off in the motor department... I really can't see that being likely.
Maybe they're trying things to see if the Mopars are a strength or weakness of the team. Who knows. Stay tuned !

I wouldn't be surprised if mopar cut their funding. I thought I heard that some of the Nascar teams were losing funding due to the Chrysler bankruptcy.
