Anyone have any idea who to expect for cars? Is this race sanctioned by any group?
Ticket price?

It is not a sanctioned race.It looks to be most of the Husets weekly drivers and some 360's will race and you never know who will show up.$12 to get in.

Wish I could hop on a magic carpet and be there. Several years ago I lived in Sioux Falls and was a regular at Rock Rapids and Husets....now I have to settle for Williams Grove and Lincoln.

I'd settle for WG and Lincoln over Huset's and winged sprints at RR 1 time/yr.
Can't wait for Knoxville, wish it was close enough to go every week.

I was being a little sarcastic....with no intent to belittle the racing at either track. I have some fond memories from my days at RR and Husets. I never had an opportunity to see a 410 race at RR only the weekly 360's....O'h and a torando one crazy Friday night back in about 1991 that passed by the track off of turn 2. They never stopped racing.

Rock Rapids in 1991 was a GREAT WEEKLY SHOW!!!! Frank, it is nowhere near as good now as it was then. 
The 410's are at Rock Rapids THIS FRIDAY July 31 - 2500 to win, 400 to start.

The weekly show now is nothing compared to what it was in 1991 but the track looks way better.
I haven't seen a race there since they redid the track before the 2008 season but it looks awesome. It was re-graded and track is much wider in the turns. Looks like sprints could easily race 3 wide in the corners.
The weekly show in 1991 was an awesome show, soon after that it started on the decline and now they race 3 or 4 fender classes and wingless 360's.

Thats too bad. I remember some awesome racing there. Hope the 410 race is successful.

I saw a poster in town for the race today stating that Brian Brown was entered.
Can anyone confirm?
It would be great but I don't see him towing up here tonight and back to Knox for tomorrow.
