Yes but I only shot a limited amount this weekend. After a couple of us got chased by cars diving down onto the paved apron that surrounds the track they moved us all back. My lens and flash aren't setup for that kind of distance because I shoot at tracks where it's safe to get a little closer than we could at Elko. I shot some telephoto stuff from the grandstand then sat in the stands and watched my first Feature from that vantage point in about three years. It was a lot of fun to see the races from the outside of the track for a change.
Unfortunately I wasn't wearing long sleeves so I couldn't conceal my wristband even though I wasn't planning on going back into the pits until after the races.
