This main was the fastest main I have seen in a long time. No cautions at all!

Allow me to jump in with some words.

I'd like to thank all the nice people at Victorville and commend them on running a smooth program. We towed out from Arizona since Victorville was the closest non-wing Sprint Car for us last weekend. Nice. Our Main was done by 9:15, an hour where us Phoenix/Manzy folks were usually still lining up for Heats! The "meet n greet" before the Main was awesome and every track in America should copy the idea. We met some great racing fans and it was a fun, family atmosphere. As for the track, we were warned it would dry out and get slick, but the fact I was still using tear-offs on the last lap proves that never happened (thanks Seth for the X-Stack). Blake Miller is way too fast to start up front and I hope he stops cherry picking the next time we go back. wink

Now, if someone can explain to me why CHP CLOSED the I-15 for 4 hours....

A Semi trailer cought fire and they had to break it apart to get all of the stuff inside out so they could get the fire put out. Then they had to clean up the hiway enough to get traffic safely through. We seen the after math of it and what a mess they had to clean up.

The traffic was horrible, and we now learned a new backroad and exited the 395 and took the 138 to the 15, 20 mins and we had bypassed all the traffic.... The track was hooked up all night.... I used 27 tearoffs in 10 laps... I had no more, and pulled off the track just before turn 3 and almost took out the Photographer... I could not see a thing. Just smeared clay all over the visor. Great track though. Mike And All the Great Guys N Gals at Victorville really went all out to ensure us the best track surface all night long......TACKY... And Bruce St.James you are one Great guy.... We had a great time talking with you during the MEET N GREET.... Hope to see you out there again

Hey Bruce,

It was so great to see you and Bob. You looked really good out there and I hope you come back to Calif. soon to race.

Just be grateful that you were pre-warned about the closing of the hwy. wink It was a mess from what I was told. Thankfully, Jimmy knew his way around it and we got to bypass the whole incident.

Have fun when you head to Iowa.

June

BTW: Do you have any shirts?

RIP Chet and Mark. You might be gone but never will
be forgotten.
