Hey folks,

No matter what happens in West Coast short track racing, it seems that a Kaeding will be making headlines...If they are not winning races, or wowing us with some specatcular move, they are finding some way to boggle the mind.

Brent Kaeding is one of my heroes. Always has been. He's the craftiest, most tenacious, most ingenious racer I have ever seen. He is capable of spectacular feats out of a race car. Like pulling people out of raging infernos. Donny Shatz knows this, and now so does Brian Camarillo...

While down in Phoenix to watch Bud at the Copper on Dirt, Brent was standing track side when Brian Camarillo flipped and caught fire in turn 1. Not only did BK pull Camarillo out of the burning race car, but he then thrashed him around on the ground like a rolling pin and extinguished the flames. Like I said, the guy has always been a hero of mine.

You can check out a video clip of Brent helping Camarillo at www.millsvideoproductions.com Click on the Copper on Dirt trailer #1 link. It's not as dramatic as the Schatz incident, but it was a scary fire nonetheless.

Also, kudos to Brent for running second to Tim last night at MGC, while nursing injuries from a hard crash the night before. The guy is THE man and has all my respect.

No matter what you may think of Brent, I like him, he has ALWAYS been the first to the scene of a bad wreck and risks his own life to get a fellow driver out of harms way. We were right in front of Donnie's wreck at Gold Cup and believe me Brent was the first there and was just amazing in action. You just have to respect him for all he has done helping out.

Brent has a heart of GOLD also.

If not for Brent, I would never have been able to attend the Gold Cup last September.

Brents new nickname should forever now be "The Fireman"

The racing comminity thanks you again Brent

I have been a fan of the Kaedings since the early 80's and I think it is awesome what they have all done for sprint car racing. It was great to see all three of them in action during the Mini Gold Cup. I look forward to seeing more racing out of all of them this year!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting

I have been fortunate enough to talk to BK on many ocassions, and he has alaways been great. He will always be the king of california because of his racing accomplishments. But more more importantly he will always be the king of california because of what he has done for people.
