David Smith, Jr. NCRA Press and Contingencies (405) 740-4769 Two Date Changes for Both NCRA Oklahoma Divisions FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Midwest City, Oklahoma - July 16, 2009 - A couple of date changes have been made to the O'Reilly/NCRA Oklahoma modified and sport modified schedule it was announced Thursday afternoon. The sport modified event scheduled for Saturday night, August 1st at Elk Citys I-40 Speedway in Elk City, Oklahoma has been moved back one day to Friday night, July 31st. Also the O'Reilly/NCRA Oklahoma modified event at Elk City scheduled for Saturday night, August 29th has also been moved back one night to Friday night, August 28th. The O'Reilly/NCRA sport modified event will be one week after the divisions first ever appearance at the 53rd Annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals in Hutchinson, Kansas. Despite being shutout in victory lane through the three events that have been held thus far, Blackwell, Oklahoma's Chad McNamara will come into the Nationals with a slim 5 point lead over Clinton, Oklahoma's Robert Elliott and Amarillo, Texas driver Donnie Raney. Both events will play a pivotal role in deciding the inaugural NCRA sport modified champion. The event for the O'Reilly/NCRA Oklahoma modifieds will be the fourth of five scheduled point events for the series where Amarillo's Gene Weaver will come into the night with a 145 point lead over Moore's Alan Oliva.
