As that thread ended, there are no problems. The only truth to the story is the motel is under new management, the Nationals Reservations are fine for everyone who paid their deposits. If anyone who has not paid their deposit which is pretty unlikely, they can't expect to stay their in August

Not sure about that W&T, If anyone has a reservation, better check them to confirm. I too heard this rumor over the weekend and would hate for anyone to get here with no place to stay.

Don't know anything about reservations for the Nationals. But I stay there on all the other weeks of the season and the new managers are very pleasant and good to work with. They don't know a lot about racing but are interested in taking care of the race people and finding out about it. The place is cleaner and nicer than it has been in the past few years since Sheryl and John left. My advice is to definitely check your status...but don't be too hard on the new guy. Seems like he'll work with anyone who is reasonable.

There is absolutely no truth to the rumor. I have spoken with the new owner HP and he has indicated everyone who has stayed there for the past 10 years is good to go for August if they have paid their deposits.
