Nice to see to that Chad is going to be running PA Speedweek in the Sorokach No. 35 (replacing Alan Cole) next week. Any of the Ohio fans on here think Chad would stick around in central PA the rest of the year if Speedweek goes decent for him? Any information or hunches, Power Slave?

The Sorokach No. 35 isn't the best team in central PA, but it is definitely a quality ride that can win. Alan Cole won at both Port Royal and Williams Grove last year in the car.

It wouldn't surprise me if the situation was right. The impression that I had (keep in mind that I admit that I could be completely off base here) is that the Hampy ride was brought out of retirement only long enough for Chad to find another permanent ride elsewhere. There aren't many sponsorship stickers on the car, so you have to wonder how much he might be footing the bill out of his own pocket.

Was there any ever explanation given for the 35 car changing drivers?

I think that Chad will be open to any good options, and this deal could have that potential.

Duffy I assume your talking about Chad's website? If so it's working fine. There will be some stuff posted soon on Chad's website soon. Trust me.

Heres a good Chad question? Why does he suck now that he is driving his own stuff? Maybe its bad motors/cars/lask of funding or crew? But he looked terrible tonight running almost last in the B.

I get the impression that he is running on a shoestring. Tough way to go for any driver.

I was actually going to title this thread "Kemenah now Posse," but decided not to because I didn't want the thread to degenerate into the same stupid argument for the millionth time on this board. Smile

Any ride where chad is making money and not spending his own to keep the team running is a good ride! He showed that he is a good driver. He gave the kantor car some good rides.

No doubt the 63 was down on funding. In May they blew a motor during hotlaps at Eldora and immediately loaded up and left. Hopefully this new ride will work out for Chad and the owners!

I am not even going to address the spelling and caps issue, but I would put the 1, 21, 22, 30c, 39, 51, 88 and 89 above the 35 when it comes to regular PA teams. The No. 35 is definitely good enough to run up front consistently (I said that exact same thing in the other Kemenah thread on the board) , but all I said is that it wasn't the best ride in central PA. That doesn't mean that it is a poor ride.

does anyone know if this will be his Knoxville ride?

Chad is a proven driver.... he has won everywhere, just needs some stability in rides.... Hopefully this will be it!
