Good deal!!! Lets see how many teams can run out of money with that many races right after another. This series has some pretty low budget teams and now we are asking these guys to take off yet another day of work when most are slow already. In the next 8 weeks civil war teams will have two weekends off. So six races oh wait seven now. 3 of which are on week days where most will have to take of work. Those 3 races are in the same 2 week period. Hope you all realize that now before you get your small paycheck. Did anyone at Handy Promotions and JPM look at the fact that after calistoga there is 4 weeks that civil war wont be racing. Maybe one of those weeks would have been a little better for most of the people that live in real life that are involved with the civil war series (drivers, owners, crew.) or did we forget that they are the ones that have to be there for a show to work and they are just the puppets for the promoters. Until now I have never thought bad of Alan b/c he has shown he cares about his teams and his race tracks. But come on this isn't the smartest rescheduling I have ever seen.

One weeknight race is Friday, July 3rd. With the 4th being on a Saturday, I would guess 95% of the M-F, 9-5 folks have Friday off. The race at Ocean is a Friday which is their normal night of racing. Would you rather have a Wednesday night race to make up for an earlier rain out or rather HRP just cancel the race altogether and not even try to schedule a make up?

The way the civil war schedule is done, all of the tracks that run 360's and host civil war races either go dark or run something else. This allows the teams who run the tracks to travel for civil war points without affecting their track points. And at this point of the season most tracks schedules are pretty much set. So rather than canceling the race the best option is mid-week. I am also pretty sure you would be hard pressed to find a real racer who would rather work than race. Based on the previous success of the wed shows i'd say handy made the right call.

its not about it being on a wed. it the fact that we have a month off after calistoga that would be ideal for a mid week race but instead we put it right in the middle of a bunch of races. You guys are idiots and sorry I dont work somewhere that gives us the third off. I guess Im just white trash with a shitty job.

I can see how this might negatively affect lower budget teams but as purely a race fan... I love WWW at P-Ville!

I love the Wednesday night racing. We need more nights of racing in NorCal besides two (Fri. & Sat.). If you don't like it or can't afford it, that is what weekly racing is for. Try Petaluma, Marysville or another local track.

Last time that I checked, no one was forcing any teams to participate in any races.....
If it's too much, then don't go......

Out of Boredom. I did this to make it easy for you to see. When would you suggest to run the CWS? And at what track? Most tracks during those last 4 weeks are wrapping up their point races for their stock divisions. 360's aren't the only division run at these tracks. Rescheduling would remove a point race for the championship for most of the other divisions that run at these tracks. Think with your head.
