Me and a couple of my buddies are headin' over to the grove and lincoln this coming weekend for the allstar shows. If you see a pasty white fat guy with a red goatee and a cubs hat on feel free to give a shout. I'll be sure to pack my thick skin so I can take any flak incase my boys don't have a good showing lol...........

hey there's something else we have in common dude - Cubs fans! lol
which actually kind of sucks right now. As bad as they have been playing the last month - they are lucky to be 2 games over .500 and only 3.5 out of first and 1.5 out of the wildcard. They need Ramirez back bad - and never shoulda got rid of DeRosa. Bradley was/is a bust too. They have wasted like 5 straight stellar starts by that new pitcher (Wolfe?) too......

Yeah, they've been pretty shamefull lately. The injuries have really taken a toll on them this year. Every time I expect Bradley to start coming around he gets injured. Big Z needs to keep himself in check also. The man's intensity is amazing, but when he loses focus the entire team tends to go south with him.
I keep telling myself that it's still early in the season and they can turn it around, but watching them throw away wins in the late innings all the time is a little dis-heartening.

I'll definately try to make an appearance in the VIP. I might be a little lost looking for it tho. I havn't been to the grove in seven years so I'm not very familiar with the surroundings.
