After getting a few phone calls and making numerous (alot) of phone calls about Restrictors, The West Coast 360 Sprint Cars have decided to give a 3rd engine combination choice to their racers. 1 7/8ths restrictors will be allowed inplace of the ASCS gasket on open headed engines.

The size 2 3/16ths has come up in conversation. I called as many educated Sprint Car people as I possibly could and the feed back I got from EVERYONE of them was that the 2 3/16's restrictor was to much of an advantage over a ASCS gasket, or an ASCS headed engine. A couple of the people I spoke to had actually done some testing and concluded that 1.85 was the closest hp rating to the ASCS gasket.

I truly dont want to tell anyone they cant come race and I know putting a gasket in and taking it out is not the easiest task. That is why we have come up with this 3rd option. Our number 1 priority is a level playing field and supporting the racers that are supporting us.

Now, you guys all seem alot more low key than the other message board I go on, but I would really like some feedback here, please.

Thank you,

Chris Kearns
