I don't know whats gotten into Tony Stewart lately!!! Just a few years ago had he been in the same position as he was this afternoon, he'd a given that 48 car a taste of his fender or bumper, just before puttin JJ into the fence. Instead it kinda seemed like he just pulled over without much fuss and waved ol' JJ right on by in the dying laps. I perferred watching the pre-anger management Tony, way the hell more fun and controversial, LOL. All is well though because Tony is now leading the points and who really expected that. Newman is in top ten as well.

What I saw today was a superior driver hold off a superior car(TStewart hold off the 48)until the enevitable occurred. BTW, I can't recall (rightly or wrongly) where Stewart ever wrecked someone he didn't think provoked him.

I wonder if Hendrick Motorsports building Stewarts engines has anything to do with it.

I think Jimmys car was better and Tony was going to do what he could to hold him off without crashing Jimmy or himself. And yes with Hendrick building their engines he's not going to get too rough with em LOL Great finish but it did suck that Tony didnt pull off the win.

I think Tony's probably looking at the big picture here. Championship #3. But I still would have liked to see him punt the 48 outta the way.

Hard to punt somebody out the way when they are FASTER than you on that particular day. Since when has Tony Stewart ever crashed somebody just because he couldn't beat them?
