you know rob you is right look back a few years when they did advertize on the radio they did have a bigger crowd. But i dont see it being USUCs fault its the promoters fault to blame USUC is wrong its up to the promoter to take care of that stuff.

They played an ad for the Wednesday night speedway bike show while the Indy 500 was running.

I agree that if people advertize sprint cars on the radio or tv (or anywhere for that matter) more people would know about sprint car racing and come out to the tracks to watch. I know personally that every time I tell people that my husband is a sprint car driver nobody has any clue what a sprint car even is & it's terrible. Sprint car racing is such a fun sport to watch & it's sad that not a lot of people have been exposed to the sport. The more it's shown or heard by people, the more people can find out where they can come enjoy this enteraining & exciting racing sport. I guess it's gonna take everybody including fans to keep the sport going in southern California cause only one race a month is crazy!

Racerwife....with a 360 ,you can run Ventura 3 weeks a month on average-410 /360 Victorville once a month,Santa Maria,hanford,Tulare......don't get boxed into thinking Perris owns sprint car racing in So. Cal...as far as free publicity for Sprint car racing..film some and put it on you tube....we haven't had a real promoter in 15 yrs so don't expect racetrack owners to fill their own grandstands! You want'a race ..Make It Happen..

Who has money to advertise? I wish I did. You would see sprint car ads on ESPN, Speed channel, Oprah, heck even on the oxygen channel if I could afford it. But the Big Problem with advertising seems to be MONEY, or Lack there of..........

It is a catch 22! But you still have to spend money to make money! If they spent a little on a cable TV ad, they would make it and a lot more back on the gate from having more fans in the seats, and more fans buying their over priced food at the concession stands! Not to mention the parking lot $$!
It's business 101!!

PAS management makes no money on concessions or parking. It goes to the fair board.
