2nd Annual AMP Power-Fest

2nd Annual AMP Power-Fest Features:
Friday May 15, 2009 8pm - Indoor MOTO-TT racing, a mix of Motocross - Short Track and Super Moto all rolled into a full blown TT course inside the open air Lightning C Arena. Two divisions, Open Traction full suspension Motorcycle and Open Traction Full Suspension ATV Quads

Saturday May 16, 2009 7pm - Indoor Short Track, a specialty sport involving up to 14 racers per class in the A Features, on a tight indoor circuit. Four divisions, Karts, Hot Rod Modified Mowers, ATV Quads, Dirttrack Motorcycles ~ With Youth, Modern and Vintage plus Expert classes.

39 Annual Italian Festival Features:

Food, music, Choc Beer, entertainment, Car Show, Bike Show, spaghetti eating contest, and over 100 vendor booths indoors and out.

The 39th Italian Festival runs from 10am till 6pm Saturday May 16th, and from 10am till 5pm Sunday May 17th. Food, Music, Car Show, Bike Show, Beer and Fun at the McAlester Expo grounds.

Attend the 3rd Annual AMP Power-Fest 2010 - Fri & Sat May 14, 15, 2009 ~ Lightning C Arena - McAlester, Oklahoma. Reserved seat tickets go on sale in December, 2009.


132 Entries raced atop two different tracks built inside the Lightning C Arena this past weekend during the 2nd Annual AMP Power-Fest. Friday's competition ran on a Super Moto-TT course which this year was comprised of a long sweeper turn, a tight straight into a left hand hair-pin turn back around to a right hander and over the NOS Energy Catapult Jump landing in front of a dog leg, again to the right and around another sweeper back onto the front straight and across the start/finish line. Saturday's Short Track was a conventional oval that ran atop the hard clay below the soft rodeo dirt which was moved away using a Road Grader.

123 Race Teams competed for cash and awards, from three states as far away as Pennsylvania.
