David Smith, Jr. NCRA Press/Contingencies (405) 740-4769 New NCRA 305 Sprint Series Kicks off at 81 Speedway Sunday Night The dawning of yet another new division will come to light this coming Sunday night (May 3) as the O'Reilly/National Championship Racing Association will debut the new 305 sprint car series at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas. The event will be held in conjunction with the NCRA 360 sprint cars, which will be the second points race of 2009 for that division. Already having success with their other two new divisions, the NCRA Oklahoma modified and NCRA sport modifieds, the 305 sprint car series will look to have the same success. The event will be the first of four that are scheduled to take place for the 2009 race season with a couple more dates pending. It will also be the first of three events scheduled at 81 Speedway, the home of NCRA. Rules for the new NCRA 305 sprint car series can be found at http://www.ncraracing.org/rules.htm with $500 going to the Cherokee Casino-Resort feature finale with $200 just to start the twenty car "A" main. All "B" feature non-qualifiers will earn $50. Sunday nights encounter at the home of NCRA, 81 Speedway in Park City, will see pit gates open at 4:00 PM with heat races set to begin at 7:00 PM. The NCRA 360 sprint car series will also make its season debut at the track along with the Kansas Antique Racers. In 2009, the O'Reilly/NCRA will begin their 39th consecutive season sanctioning races across the midwest.
