Thanks for the link Scott. No, those aren't Sprint Cars but that's as close as you can get on two wheels! I remember when the Speed Channel would show the Speedway World Championships every winter. It was ten or twelve weeks of one-hour programs packed with lots of great racing and some interesting personalities. I don't even ride bikes but that racing is very compelling. I just checked the 'net and I found a site where season highlights can be purchased on DVD. I'll probably buy some DVD's if I can figure out how to convert pounds or euro's into dollars! I think that most Sprint Car fans would enjoy Speedway if they were exposed to it. Thanks again.

Rick, not sure what your work schedule is, but you can catch British Speedway live on the Internet almost every Monday at: http://www.justin.tv/daave1
It usually starts between 10:00 and 11:00 AM Pacific time. The first race of 2009 will be on this Monday. Poole Pirates vs Swindon Robins.
In addition, they show every round of the World Final live! The 2009 schedule is listed below.
