I have heard that gary lee meier is going to be running the NCRA and several ASCS Midwest races in the 1x car. I am just wondering if there is any truth to this, because last I knew was that he was going to be team mates to gary wright. I have noticed Gary Wright has been racing in ASCS competition and Gary Lee hasn't. Just wondering whats going on with Gary Lee Meier since I am a fan of his. Thanks LETS GO RACIN!!

Garry didn't go to Fl because he was recovering from a shoulder injury suffered at the Chili Bowl. The other Brad explains well.

According to Garry Lees wife Tonya, all is good between Garry Lee and Scott Brown. One of Garry's boys is starting college and I believe the other is a senior in high school (or something like that) and he wants to stay close to home and family. They have also sold their house in Cimmaron and are building a new one.
Garry will be in the Ochs Brothers #1x with NCRA.

Translation: Brown can't afford 2 cars on tour. Garry Lee displays class by not criticizing his previous employer (Who's actions suggest that he doesn't posess the same professionalism). The begining of the season is difficult time to be released. If it wasn't downsizing another driver would have replaced him.

Garry wants to stay close to home. Can you not read? Or did one of your something for rockets go off somewhere it shouldn't?

wow
I dont know bout all this situation. and until sumthing 4 rockets brings us all up to speed on the inner workings of the Lubbock Wrecker team or whatnot......assumptions will have to rule the day lol.
Just lookin at the progression of news and stuff with this.....I wouldnt assume Scott Brown unprofessional at all. He has fielded that team for a long time. Maintained everything with the car, and made sure the car was taken all over creation so that his driver would not have to do it. where is the dishonor in that? Time, effort, and money no matter how you slice it....
btw. disclaimer lol. If i am wrong about any of this. I'm just going both appearances on the surface as well as the few things I have heard/read here and there over time and recently. unless there are a bunch of things I am unaware of.......I would think Brown probably the best sprint car owner in the entire area - and maybe beyond. The whole notion of Meier being let go at the start of a season i dont think is totally accurate. Brown didnt just leave both drivers pissin in the wind and sell everything out from under them.......if i understand correctly Brown offered both drivers a deal, based on because he didnt want to maintain the cars like he was before and hauling everything everywhere........sure the beginning of the year isnt the best time. But its not like he sold everything outright and completely left em pissin in the wind. Wright won 2 ascs gulf south races last weekend with Lubbock Wrecker on the car. And didnt Meier not accept for his personal reasons? and seems to me how it all ended woulda been how it would have ended anyway. with Meier in the car he is in. and Wright still on Tour. nothing wrong with either Brown or Meier not wanting to keep up with everything to keep the car out on the road. Sprint car Owners and drivers are still people....and sometimes may want a break/do something different themselves.
I fail to see anything wrong with Meier wanting to stay a lil closer to home, or with Brown wanting to do things a lil differently too. sumthin4rockets........I dont know what you are basing your comments on.......but all parties involved seem incredibly professional to me.
