My son and the MWC Bomber baseball team will be in Duncan at the High School this Saturday for a doubleheader and I was wondering if there were any places that you recommend on stopping and eating?
Not sure the times as the Varisty (he is soph. playing JV) will be playing down there as well but it would be nice to have a place in mind just to go and enjoy some good food.
Thank you in advance.

The Goodners Steak House burned about a year ago, depends on what you like, there is:
Hero's Sports Grill in the Holiday Inn which is within a half a mile from the High School (west side of 81)
Eduardro's Mexican food same as the one in Chickasha (east side of 81 across from Hastings)
Johnny's which as hamburgers, chicken baskets stuff like that, in the same shopping center with Hastings (west side of 81)
Billy Simms BBQ north of town in the Chisholm Trail Casino (west side of 81)
Napoli's Italian food is pretty good its fairly new and is right beside KFC (east side of 81)
360 Bistro is in the Mall (which should not be called a mall) right behind the Chisholm Suites Hotel (east side of 81)
Golden Corral is on the north side of town.
El Palacios mexican food is on south side of Town on Bois D Arc, go down 81 south then turn left on bois d arc, about half a mile on the left.
There is not just one stand out place, these are all pretty good places, I live in this area its some of the places I like. Billy Simms is my fav. and im pretty sure you can bring kids in there to eat. Anyway hope this helps.

South of town on old 81, it looks like (and is) a gas station, but it is also a BBQ restaurant. I think it's called Billy's BBQ now, but it used to be called Phipps. Don't be fooled by the little booth Phipps in the parking lot across from Halliburton. That was the old take out drive up. If you order the steak, be aware that it really is about a 2 pound chuck roast.
Further south and east on the section line roads is a catfish and chicken fry place. The name escapes me and I just ate there two weeks ago. (Old age is hell.)
Billy Simms BBQ in the casino on the north side of town is very good (same menu as Edmond).
If you are hungry on the drive down, the best BBQ (strange how there is a common theme here) is in Chickasha and no, all you up tight white people, I don't mean Jake's Rib. Roy's Barbeque is on 3rd and Missouri (4th Steet is 81 headed south out of town.) But be aware, Roy goes home at 8:00 PM so don't be late.
I don't recommend the Taco Tico (sorry Jerry Jones), but it is amazing to still see one standing.

The catfish and chicken fry place south of town is Bob's. There are also two other mexican places in town, Don Joses north of town across from the Ford dealer (heard they have great margaritas!), and La Fiesta that is in the same "mall" that thriller mentioned. I prefer Don Joses, but that is my own opinion. There is a little bit of everything here in town, no "Big Chain" places, but a lot of local flavor. Hope you have a good trip down.
