Maybe Enid needs to ask Obama for bail out money and not the racers. Those entrys and pitpasses are awful and no one can afford it . I see Enid has taken the pay schedule off the site. Thats sign of stickin it in the drivers farther on the pay.

Well not that it will make a difference just wanted to put in my 2 cents....

We just got back from Texas and the pit pass was only $50.00 for 2 days (it was free on playday) and it was an amazing show (except for the weather).

Enid was well represented at this show, none of our cars made it to the A feature but several were very very close. I'm sure all of the guys gained alot of knowledge that will help each one of us on the NCRA Series, which I'm sure we all will be participating. I look forward to seeing OKLAHOMA ROW again next year at THE TEXAS DIRT CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!

I'm not bashing Enid here but we have been to 2 races already and I'm sure there will be a couple of more before the Enid show and the pit passes, at Enid, are quite high for that payout.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN SOON!!!!!

P.S. It does seem a little strange that the payouts were removed from the website. This is just a "RUMOR" but I was told that the payout there was going to depend on the car count.....

Does anyone know what is going on with Enid Speedway Park?

There are a lot of rumors flying around....

Higher pitpasses, higher adult tickets, and I even heard possible lower payouts...

Is there any truth to any of these rumors?

If so, I ask why even promote a track for failure?

I have been around Enid Speedway Park for many years and know without a doubt it is one of the very best tracks in this state. I would hate to see it diminish any more!

Hopefully someone who knows if the rumors are true or not will get on here and tell everyone the facts, then we will all know how to plan our season.

Enid is turning more and more into a joke. Their "Big Money" shows have the smallest payout then any other track in Oklahoma. Drop Lonnie and get you an actual promoter. An ex driver that used to be loved by the fans and respected by all the other drivers has been turned into a joke. Im not tryin to dis on Lonnie, he just isnt cut out to be a promoter. One of the best tracks in the state has been ran straight into the ground and it is very sad to see. And still they dont seem to realize that upping the cost of everything and cutting the pay isnt they way to get drivers back. Dont make the drivers pay for a promoters mistake. How is it that TMS can pull over 200 cars and only pay $3000.00? Something has to be done at Enid!!! A wonderful track has been put to shame.

Being a promotor is not as easy as apple pie. Why did;nt you put a bid in for it? You got all the answers. Run the show so people can talk all kinds of crap on here about you. Lonnie is not the first and im sure he will not be the last to get shit talked on. Lonnie is not the only promotor at this track.

Shut up 'clean slate' and hold on I got to get my wifes panties out of my rear end. Ok I got them fixed. Now back to your comment, I think Lonnie is a stand up guy and I will stand up for him! We all know who you are and the sad part is I really like you and your family.

Jimmy,

can you answer these questions above?

We just want to know so we can plan the rest of our schedule for this year.

I also know Lonnie and will say he is a very likable and at times the funniest person on this planet...LOL

As for the problems at Enid Speedway Park, I'm not running the show, therefore, I don't know the problems....I will also say, from the years that I have been around the sport, raising prices everywhere and possibly cutting pay will only put the track in more hardship. I say this because anyone who attended Enid Speedway Park last year knows that the sport-mods had the largest amount of cars on most Saturdays. There are a lot of places for these cars to race so if they feel they are not being treated fairly then they will just move to another track.

There are a lot of economics involved here and with times being hard on everyone is it hard to see who is in the wrong.....

Jimmy,

once again, if you could just answer the questions about all the rumors that would help me out a lot.

Thanks,

Jayson

Hey, Jayson I know the answers but I will make sure of them on monday and post it. I do know for sure that the tell end of the payouts are better. Some of the Pure stocks at the back of the field came away with like only $5 last year and now the last one in that class will come away with $25. I will do all I can to help with your questions on monday. Thanks Jayson and nice talking to you and good luck and stay safe you and Milt.
