I-96 speedway in Ionia, Mi has a big 1/2 mile and they had a 1/4 mile but they are making it into a 3/8 mile starting this season. They also hold lawn mower racing on the 1/8 mile they have. Also inside the 1/2 mile.

That was a mess. The Rolling Stones decided to put on a FREE concert and 250,000 people showed up. When the Stones got word about the man with the gun they called the chopper and got the bleep out of there. When the crowd realized that the Stones had left it turned into a riot and the track was practicall leveled.

NO, NO,NO
The Stones were playing while the guy was getting his gun because his girlfriend said she wanted to "be friendly" with Jagger.

Manzinita Speedway in South Phoenix, Az still boast a 1/2 with a 1/4 inside, and all Dirt too. I might be mistaken, but aign't that where they hold the Copper World Classic?

Yes, but the big race, the prestigious race, is the 3 day Western World that was ran in November. It was the 41st, and the list of winners is impressive.
Actually it's on the west side..35th ave and Broadway.

Paducah now has something like a 1/6th to an 1/8th mile track in the infield that uses the front stretch of the big track. They ran micro's on it the last time we were there in June. They go up hill out of turn 4 since the front side is so banked.
