According to the Sprint Car World site, Jonathan started on the pole for the rescheduled Sun., 2/22, race but is missing from the final results. In Oz, that usually means a DNF. http://www.sprintcarworld.com.au/event.asp?Id=6725 What happened, Gary? Was Ashley the crew chief for the NZ races?
There's a photo of the 0 USA car on the site with "Albany Toyota" as the principal sponsor.
Looks like his next race down there is the Krikke Boys Shootout at Bunsbury City Speedway in Oz, 2/28-3/1. Paul McMahan is also entered in that one.

Found the story at the NZ SCW site http://www.sprintcarworld.co.nz/release.asp?NewsId=30905
It seems JA was leading on lap 7 of the 25 lapper, when he tried an "ambitious inside passing move" on a lapper, Brian Manefy, 4P. JA clipped him and suffered a flat RR that put him out. The 4P lost a wheel and was also out for the night.
Winner was Dean Brindle 1NZ, with Ricky Logan, 10 USA, second and Greg Pickerall, 18A, third. The Final was actually run on Sunday, 2/22.

JA was leading with 5 laps to go. Attempted to pass a lapped car and was run down to the infield by the lapped car when they hit tires. Got a flat R.R. Ashley was not in NZ.

Hey chicofan read the release again. Evidentley someone who may even been to a race re-wrote the bs story his name is Evan in NZ. I guess you even need drivers who are no better than 19th to fill the field like Brian Menefy.
