Unofficially it was Brady Bacon for Fri. night's win followed by Brad Loyet, Chad McDaniel, George White and J.J. Yeley. The wind was bitterly cold blowing hard in our faces (in the stands) and sometimes I couldn't even see... but I think that is the top 5. Some real close racing at first with Loyet, Beason & Clauson, with Clauson finally getting the lead only to drop out... I don't know why. Sorry. Yeley started 22nd coming through a B as a result of a spin in his heat. If the wind hadn't been blowing about 20 to 30 mph (not exaggerating) it would have been a great night of racing.
Racing starts Sat. @ 4 p.m. and altho' colder, very light winds. That sounds much better.

Sorry to see Clauson drop out, it looked like a flat rear tire, but it is always a good race when the winner is decided in the last 10 feet. The only time Bacon led the race was when he crossed the finish line. Glad I had my goggles with me, without them my eyes kept drying out because of the wind. It was cold and windy but I was just happy to see a race in Feb. Thank you Cowtown.
