We run Round #10 of the 14 race AMP OWN series this Saturday February 14 at the HIstoric OK Corral Indoor Arena in Harrah, Oklahoma. Todate we have awarded over $1,355 in the DFC's including the NOS Energy Drink and the 50/50 Ticket "Dash For Cash" earnings, plus $8,140 in total cash purse for a grand total of cash paid out of $9,495 for first half of the Indoor Point Series 6th Annual AMP OWN races.

There is currently an additional $800 in the AMP Outlaw Winter Nationals Pro Point Fund for the 2008-2009 Series todate.

The series has seen the top three finishers in the A and B and BB Divisions winning over $8,000 in trophies sponsored by Daley's Speed Shop, and gifts provided by Daley's Speed Shop, Phillips 66 Stores, Maxwell Oil, City Electric, Sonic America's Drive-In, and TKC Race Night Photos. Bringing the grand total up to round #9 to $17,495 in cash and awards paid out to the participants for the 6th Annual AMP Outlaw Winter Nationals. 18 "Katie Medrano" My First Race Trophies have been awarded to and included in the fun times memories of participants that experienced their very first race in their life at the AMP Outlaw Winter Nationals.

Totals include an additional $300 in purse for the Open Pro Singles, raised by Nikki Smith for the Inaugural Ed Daley Life Tribute race held Dec 27th and an additional Cash Bonus for the Open Pro Quads in round #9. Those who donated cash to the race are Jerry Cartwright, Mike Hinds, Gary Bowman, Nikki Smith and an anonymous donor. Totals also include the addtional $100 Bonus money paid to the Open Pro Quads in Round #9 to the top 3 finishers. An addtional $100 bonus for the 600 Pro Vintage Motorcycle Class will be paid in the upcoming Round #10 to the top three broken down and paid to the top 3 finishers as $50, $30 and $20 extra in addition to the regular night's purse.

Moto Master Brake Systems and Twin Air Filters have provided Contingeny Award certificates good for discounts on purchase of their performance products. $3,050 in cash purse has been paid out to the Quad Division, $1,325 to Outlaw Kart Division, $125 to the Hot Rod Mower Division, with the remainder of $4,995 paid to the Motorcycle Pro Divisions.

Average participants per event has been over 110 for the series. Series has seen 981 total entries overall for the first 9 rounds of the 14 round season.

Average total entry equals 110 per event with the highest of 129 on Nov 8 the same weekend as the high for the first half of the 5th Annual AMP Outlaw Winter Natioanls.

Bob and Crew, that is awesome. The sponsorships for the events, contingency money, and pay-outs are equal to none. I hope the News 9 story will raise more awareness to our sport of racing. I have been to your venue several times and there was never a dull moment.

You guys are giving our future race car drivers an avenue to hone their skills, that is something I applaud you for, and something you should be proud of.

The only thing missing is the "Golden Pig" trophy. LOL

Seriously, keep up the good work as I know you will.
