Sorry about posting this on the readers page, wont happen again, but with all of the questions about the new rules I thought I would let the readers see the car. The rest of the pictures will be on our web sit by this afternoon for you to see. We had a technical glitch that prevented it from happening. For the true dirt guy I am sure that this is not something you want to see, but there are some people that like seeing this type of sprint car and I dont believe a true race fan would ever want to burn any type of race car. We all love one thing going fast and making that sweet noise!

While the dirt comes first in all my race endeavours, I am a pavement sprint car/super modified fan from the 70s and I appreciate the looks of this new asphalt sprinter. What a beauty! Can't wait to see the rest of the Viper's photos. Thanks

KOP, are you saying you never went to see the gathering of the clan, the original Copper Classic? I'll tell you what, PIR during the day, and Manzy at night, were some of my best weekends at the track.... ever.

Hey KOP, at least that beauty don't have a "barndoor on top" like the super modifieds from one outlaw group.

Kenny: I did the Copper / Manzy deal. The anticipation of the whole day was for the Manzy races. I still take in a pavement race once in awhile. If I'm in an area where they are racing, I'll go. After all, it beats sitting around looking at the boob tube. "Back in the day", at least they would slide around the turns some.
Today, the technology is so advanced on chassis components that it is a straight line into the corner and the same coming out. Can't get into the flow as I once did. I have yet to fly over to take on Turkey Night @ Irwindale. Put those ultralight fast suckers @ Perris or Tulare (where I'd like to see them) and I'm there dude!
RD:
Amen on the "barndoor" comment! Wangless is the only way to go!!!
