Hey anyone out there in the used parts jungle have any suggestions on prepping a used tail tank for paint? I recently picked one up and want to get it ready for another color. Has anyone tried paint strippers? The paint seems to be coming in in chunks if you will...but I didn't know if there was any easier, faster way besides sanding? without doing any harm to the plastic. Suggestions? Comments?? Schatz bashing? fire away!
Thanks

We use the spray can "Aircraft Stripper" from Wal-Mart (or AutoZone/O'Reilly/etc). Works pretty well, doesn't seem to hurt the shell.
