Anyone know a round about figure on how many cars and drivers will run this year? Any word on if Alan Ballard will be running, how about any new drivers and teams. I see that there are only 10 races at PAS this year and not too many conflicting dates with AZ and Bandits, so hopefully we will see some new drivers and teams show up.

Thats a great question as I am waiting patiently for Perris to get back into action. I think there are actually 12 race dates @ Perris this year. As far as the teams - not much information out there as of yet. I know that Dave Cardey will be in the Alexander #4 sprinter and that Jordan Hermansader is set to return in the RASE Marketing #32. Haven't heard anything about Ballard but I sure hope he returns in the #75 Stansberry/Bach sprint car and hope the same of Eric Severson. I think we can expect the usual big hitters such as Rip Williams, Danny Sheridan, last year's champ Mike Spencer, Corey Kruseman, Blake Miller and Tyler Brown. I read somewhere Josh Ford and Nic Faas will be spending the summer in Indiana. I am sure that Cody Williams will be back and hope that his brother Austin joins him this year. Any news about the race teams would be appreciated. Lance is requesting information on the team notes section of SCRAFAN.Com. It is a very good resource.

Visited with Alan at the Chili Bowl. He will be in the #75 starting at Perris. Unless something changes, the team isn't planning on running the Phoenix or Vegas shows. Stansberry/Bach puts out some good equipment and Alan says he is really lucky to be associated with them.

Good luck to the entire team for 2009!

Good news - the "Wildman" will be back. Forgot Garrett Hansen in the above post. Hope he is in good health. Saw that he was racing @ the Chili Bowl. I got to talk to Cole Carter a couple of years ago at the PAS and he seemed liked a real nice young man. You must have helped out alot as I noticed he won one of the main events on Saturday.

Thanks for the kind words but Pancho took care of the set up, Cole did the driving and I just cleaned and pushed.Coles friend Adam did most of the wrenching and you're right,Cole is a very friendly and polite young man.
