When was last time We saw Sprint car (USAC/CRA) with #1 on thier tank?

#1 Cory Kruseman (2002 SCRA 410s - Harlan Willis Car)

Is # 1 Retired number for USAC/CRA ? like 98jr

The championship cars already had established numbers and did not wish to run the #1.

In CRA, several teams ran a #1 after Dean Thompson (1983):

Richard Harvey Jr. also ran a #1 with CRA.

I suppose you could argue that this is a trick question. The 50 car runs a small expansion oil tank for the rear end just above the left rear shock. The tank is in the shape of a regular sprint car tail tank and carries the #1 on it. I think it's been a part of Bromme cars for quite some time. It's a neat little piece that people should check out.

I remember Bruce Sr. making that and , was he proud of his creation........many moons ago.....It was in the garage in Gardena Ca.....
