I was thinking the same thing.
I kind of figured that Utah would beat Bama. Javier Arenas is there only offense, and that is punt returns.

Yeah, and their other touchdown drive was a monster 30 yd thing of beauty.I think they ended up with a little over 200 yd of offense. That Mountian West speed on defense was to much for them.

It should of been OU vs UTAH for the championship if you ask me. They deserve to be there more then Florida.

I am not trying to start anything but Utah does have a claim to say they have a MNC. The only team to go undefeated and to go that way they beat a former Number one team in the nation soundly.

Look at Utah's schedule and tell me even OSU could not have gone undefeated, until the Bama game. And, does anyone really think that Alabama was the number one team in the nation during those times when they were ranked number one? Come to think of it, I probably would have picked OSU over Bama in that game. I agree that going undefeated is a good feat, but not worthy of National Championship talk with a schedule like they played.

Well I see what you are saying but a Boise St. that did beat Ou in the fiesta bowl a couple of year ago was in the conferance. I am just saying that they have a claim rather people beleive or not. They did beat a SEC school who everyone though was the top conferance in the nation during the season.

Utah winning that game was further embarassment for the BCS - as it only highlights the fact of needing a playoff. under the current system - no team from outside the 6 powerhouse conferences with automatic bids could ever make it to a 1 vs. 2 title game - we need a 16 team playoff.....
