Only invert 4 in heat races & lapped cars always go to back of pack under yellows.

The lapped car rule is BS.
Let me get this right.....A guy works his ass of to get past a guy, they trow a yellow or red and everone else gets to slide on by...

I like the rule. Lappers always screw people behind 'em on restarts. Passing a dude on a restart is totally different than passing them under green flag racing. I know I'm in the minority but I've wanted this rule for a while. Now there will be no controversy with who should be where when it comes to lap cars.

lets see, a guy is running 19th, a lap down, and you think he needs to start second on a restart?

As a driver, I hate this rule. I had to work to get passed him, so should everyone else. Restarts are already a disadvantage for the guy ahead becuase everyone get bunched up behind him.
However, as a fan, its a good rule. I have come to terms that we are not selling a race to a fan, we are selling entertainment. Whats more entertaining that a few big ole' turn one at knoxville sliders? not too much comes to mind unless you are in the car

If one guy has to pass him, why shouldn't everyone else?
Most sensible drivers will give the lead lap cars room to race on the restart.

Absolutely Duane. Don't you say "racing is passing?
A free pass is not passing.
What's next? The lucky dog award?
Will the rule be enforced when it happens to one of the "big names"?
Geeze, if it happens to Sammy... Well, I'd rather not think about it.

What's next? If you get lapped, you have to pull off the track?

The Lucky Dog! Haaaaaaaaaa! Now there's a good one.
Times are changing and we gotta go with 'em. Entertainment is the key as Jonesy112 pointed out.

Carwash Mike, that is what this is, the lucky dog. Told it may make some drivers upset when leading that they worked to get by those lapped cars once and would have to again but then again later in the year they may be the one who benefits from the lucky dog.
Now the million dollar question is, what happens if you lap one or two cars twice and a couple of others once? Will the guy being lapped twice get both laps back, be put in where he got lapped with one lap back or still two laps down and placed where he got lapped?
Dayum I am confused myself.

Jonesy has nailed it. This rule will lead to more lead changes since every time there is a yellow the pack will be right on the leaders tail. (Think Joey's 10 second win the other night, all of his work and racing would be for nothing if a yellow came out under these rules.)
Of course, we'll be hearing about all of those lead changes and how more lead changes means we're seeing more "exciting racing"?

Wasn't there a Midwest driver who it was said, stopped to bring out a caution once or twice when he was going a lap down?
Will this become the norm for a car getting lapped?

Most sanctions/tracks these days have a 2 yellow rule and then you're out.

With that reasoning, there would have only been 5 cars on the track at the end of the 1999 Kings Royal......Boy, that would have been exciting!
