Fact is, they will never create a super speedway car that all the fans are going to like. The easy thing to do will be to throw stones. But I for one am very hopeful for the Gold Crown series. I was one of those who used to be hopeful about the IRL, but all it is now is CART reborn. And I'd rather see a Gold Crown 200 lapper than our USAC sprint cars in the NASCAR fender series

The new hood designs that they were looking at will help some. I doubt it will be the horse to get them over the hill.

No thanks, I will stick with dirt track racing and the sprint car look that we have today since we can't go back in time. And I sure as heck ain't looking at the future.

I'm in the same boat as you. I wouldn't walk across the street to see a pavement race but I would drive for 20 hours to see a good dirt race.
