OKC & Wichita Racers Trade Show/Auction Dates Announced FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - November 11, 2008 - Midwest City, Oklahoma - Make your plans now to attend two of the biggest and longest running auctions and trade shows in the Kansas and Oklahoma area as event promoters Greg Deatherage and Joe Hedricks gear up for two big shows in two consecutive weekends in Oklahoma City and Wichita, Kansas. It all kicks off on Saturday, January 3, 2009, as Deatherage presents the 11th Annual Oklahoma City Racers Auction & Trade Show and Swap Meet inside the Oklahoma Expo Hall Building #2, located on the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City with show times from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Trade show and exhibit space is available and will feature anything and everything in racing from sprint cars, drag cars, trailers, engines, tow rigs, go-karts, new and used parts, race cars, tools and shop equipment. However, no junk or used tires unless they are on wheels. Consignments are wanted but call early for pre-consignment lot numbers as sales were full last year. Consignment day will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Then one week later, January 10-11, 2009, Deatherage and Hedricks present the 21st Annual Kansas Auto Racers Auction & Trade Show inside the Kansas Coliseum - Pavilion II in Wichita, Kansas located off of I-135 and 85th Street North. This event, which is under new promotion, will kick off with consignment days on Thursday (January 8) from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Friday (January 9) from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Consignments are wanted but call early for pre-consignments lot numbers as they were full last year. Then on Saturday, the auction and trade show kicks off beginning at 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM with a chassis seminar scheduled from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The weekend will come to a close on Sunday with hours from 8:00 AM until finished. There will be no buyers premium at either sale.
