I like Damien Gardner to take Saturday's main event this year. I know, I know, he is a real long shot, and I am really going out on a limb picking him to win; but he has not faired well in the Oval Nats. I think this year is his year. Who does everyone else like to win it in 2008?

PS. I would pick my favorite driver to win it but the Tempe Tornado is retired Smile

Tony Jones. I would pick Gary Patterson, my favorite all-time driver, but of course he no longer is with us.

KK always has had great cars. I can't remember a year when so many kids had so much success this early in their driving careers. Sign of the times. Cole Whit can do it, but I don't have that fuzzy feeling about his chances. Maybe that will change after I finsh my bloody mary this morning. Peace. Have a great Nats!
