I guess since they brought in the NBA team they think they deserve a pay raise. The news said the mayor would go from 24K to 48K. It is coming up to a vote of the people of Okc at some time.

Good thing here is you can vote on it. We have an issue coming up in Edmond for a new police station. It's an advalorum/property tax instead of sales tax. Which I believe is wrong. We do need a new facility but I'll be against this one only because of the taxing. If you don't own property you don't pay and that is wrong. JMO

OKC voters will pass it. That council helped get the THUNDER.

All OKC voters that helped pass all the Ford center $$ should understand, no good deed goes unrewarded.

I know as a life-long Oklahoman I didn't know how my life was going to continue unless we had an NBA team that MIGHT win 15 games this year.

I got to see a Thunder team lose to the Lakers on Thunder TV last night.

I feel richer already.

GO THUNDER !!!
