Am I still allowed outside of my 100 mile circle to watch the USMTS at Lansing? frown

Ok Stan,,,, but I think that there should be some type of fine involved here,,,, first beer is on you... LOL

I can't wait to see the up coming schedule,,, racing close to home,, (well,, a little over your 100 mile limit),,,plus a few non-wing shows,,,, should be good..

Where does it say anything about carbs or bigger cubed motors?

Tony

please help me find where the rule is . I also have read the rules and can't find where a sprint car is allowed more cubic inchs if carburated. I also will try to call Bob Allen and see if he can help. If anyone else would help that would be great. this needs to be cleared up.

Well it's not in the rule book now in 2008.

And by the way, it was not my decission to pump you before the race. It was the decission of the other racers that wanted you pumped.

Enough said on this matter. Tony good luck where ever you race.

Tony,,,, put the cap back on the methanol barrel and chill,,,,,, Your getting all upset about a rule in IMCA, NOT UMSS...... If you've got your own special rules,, GREAT, more power to you,,, As far as your choosing to either run UMSS or not,,, That is your choice,,, If you choose not to run because of your dislike of one person, then you're the one missing out, not all the other racers and fans watching you....

Well said Brain. As I told Tony the entire country is on a 360 CID rule and so will Ron"s UMSS. If he {Ron} decides it is in the best interest to let any carburetor cubic inch run then this will have to be addressed by the racers who will compete against it. As I told You Tony where then do you draw the line. 377, 383, 406. At what point then do you stop. You stop in my opinion at the 360 rule. IMCA March's to a different beat and I think that is great for some people. This is not the IMCA, It is the UMSS as I said it will not be for everyone either but it is our intension to appeal to the majority of the car owners and drivers here in the Twin Cities. I know in my mind and heart these rules will excite new blood and generate old blood. I beleive this horses has been beat enough for now.

Tony, slow down your quick responses here and learn how to spell first. (tyring-trying, Guss-Guess, There-Their, out law-outlaw, etc) Reading your posts really paint a picture of you in some of our heads and that picture is a 5 year old kid whining and crying about kick ball rules on the playground. I'm not comparing kick ball rules to UMSS or IMCA rules, but they way you present yourself here is a bit childish IMO.

If the IMCA is such a great deal for your race team, then keep racing with them. Still a free country here to make that decision. I've only seen the IMCA group a couple of times, but they were a nice bunch to watch. If I remember correctly, you were even competitive with them. Nobody is forcing you to run the UMSS. You had mentioned Cedar Lake as your home track, but maybe you need to make Arlington your new home track. I sincerely hope you can work something out with Ron and find a way to run your current package with the UMSS and would think that most folks reading this post agree. I also have an opinion that you should just shut the heck up and go run the IMCA because you are beginning to annoy the piss out of many of us with your constant pissing and moaning. Maybe your claims are legitimate, I'm not going to go there. All I know is it's only October and it may be a long winter of reading your posts.

We will all see you at the next outlaw race..........in the B-main..........in a non-transfer position.........as usual. Just keeping it real Tony. We all wish you luck wherever you choose to race.

Tony,

"How many of you can run a program like me not many".............

I don't think anybody is too jealous of your racing program or has any plans on copying it. I'm guessing the only reason IMCA allows you to race with the 377 is because you aren't a threat to win. You were almost a full second slower than the 2nd worst time trial at the CedarLake WOO show.

How many times have you finished in front of a car that is actually running at the end of a race?? Don't try to pass blame on any group for not allowing you to race with them. You are the only person in the country running your current configuration and you haven't had much success with it anywhere. So I would consider it your problem, not a track or sanctioning body.
