Since Lanny is having his mod show next weekend I was wondering what everyong thought the car count would be. Since there were about 56 mods for this weekend I will say about 75. I do not know if any other tracks are running next weekend if they are not I would say 80.

I was just wondering why Lanny choose SFS and not Lawton or the Dewvils bowl for his big Mod show?

I would say the parking availability if I were a betting man. But then again, who am I?
I will say around 75 myself and probably 40 sportmods and 35 sprints. Should be a heck of a weekend.

Race fan not trying to be a butt here but did you happen to see when I made the post. Technically, I was correct in my dates. The mod show is the 24th and 25th of Oct.

I hope you are wrong about the sprints. I bet OKCFan12 there wouldn't be 20. If I wasn't going to Little Rock, I would be there it will be a hell of a show.

Well David there were 33 champs friday night and the payout is the same. I know one more champ that was not there this weekend is looking at trying to be out there for this show.

I hope their is 50. I am just going off the fact that usually for special shows, for some reason the champ sprints don't show up. It has always seemed like if it wasn't a point paying show for SFS they don't show up. The winter nationals have always drawn more cars. And I was there Friday and saturday and saw how many cars were there. Like I said, I hope there are 50 sprints. I just have a feeling there won't be.

whoa. we're likeminded with this one. when my ol man rounders was asking how many for that show too ------ thats exactly what i said lol.
i agree - i look forward to this show very much. and i agree 100% in your estimation of the car count. although i think they may have a few less sprints. i hope not tho. i think we could even get more in both the mod classes.
but if lanny gives us a track like what he has for most the 2nd half of the year - its gonna be an awesome show no matter what. i look forward to it enough that i aint gonna chase the sprints to the bowl or lil rock. instead i was thinkin of takin a couple movies in at the local theatre. maybe appaloosa and max payne. and then thinkin maybe of going to creek saturday. i think with all the other tracks off they may have a really good showing in all classes -maybe 20 or a few more in the 2 classes i like most (sprints and mods).
hey one thing i really want to know - what is the format they are running for this SFS show?????

i'll ask again here too
will there be any releases of those who PRE-ENTER? the last few shows had quite a few mods from N Texas - i think this will have even more from texas - and a bunch Arkansas - and especially some coming from the north (KS, NE, MO) - and some from the west (amarillo, NM)
i personally think the tracks lanny gave the mods to run on ever since the 1k to win wednesday show - will pay dividends with this show. the mods had a GREAT track to run on every race since. smooth - extremely racy. i think this field could be even bigger than i been thinkin. if we got the 55 we had last weekend - i think we'll get quite a few more too.
i'm just psyched to see who will come run it. i know who i am rooting for in the sport mods........the "tuttle tornado" Cody Whitworth! too bad they aint runnin 305's too.........

rock on!
we should come up with more nifty names for the rest of the field lol.
the Tuttle Tornado. and when Mike Whitworth races same races as Cody - instead of one gettin the name over the other ----- they will just be the "Tuttle Twisters" hehe. what say you sprint50 - you endorse those nicknames?
