56 RACING SPRINT CAR PARTS OUT OF ARIZONA IS A JOKE, THIS IS WHY. I have been racing non-wing sprint cars about 2 years now and like most drivers or car owners im on A very tight budget. I work very hard for my small paycheck and look for the best deals on sprint car parts when I can afford it. I purchased a set of new Winters Birdcages from 56 Racing Sprint Car Parts in Tucson, Arizona, and they sent me two right side birdcages instead of a right and a left. I called the owner and he said since I sent you the wrong ones if you like you can purchase another set for the same price, and I will send you two left side birdcages and I wont charge you shipping. I agreed and mailed a money order out the next day. Two weeks later I called and spoke to the same guy and asked if he had shipped my birdcages. He told me that he had not because he was busy moving the shop and said that he would ship them out the next day. Two more weeks later, I received two more right side birdcages and now I have four right side birdcages and not one complete set. I have tried to contact 56 Racing by phone and their voicemail is always full and they refuse to call me back. The only way they choose to communicate is by email and now the person answering the emails is acting like I am trying to rip them off and wont send me the right parts and fix their mistake! 56 Racing said they will give me my money back but I have to pay to ship it back to them. I wanted to let other people know to beware of 56 Racing Parts - they have no clue how to treat another racer. sorry for such a long post. Rich.....

ya know, I too have embarked on a seller that was a little flakey, the seller wanted me to contact him by phone,but advertised the item for sale on the net, so i did, I found his approach and direction a little sceptical over the phone, he could not answer the specifics of the item , but, "just send a check and ill get it sent out quickly" ya whatever, after I hung up the phone I decided to have the vendor/individual send the used item COD ( his item is still his, untill I hand over correct and lagit funds, also Im not out funds without item in hand ) I contacted him Via Email about the purchase of the item Via COD, he replied with a nasty Email , degrateing my request, I was upset, and felt I too should warn fellow hoseheaders about the Quack artist if he has a product he feels is worthy of selling then send it ! its not like I can take a free ride ? yes, he could be out the dough to send the item, but, im serious about buying it! maybe the individual doesnt have such item? or isnt serious about product delivery , makes you think? Be carefull hosers, I feel your pain and have heard shakey things about 56 although my items showed up as promiced from the 56 vendor, sorry for your dillemma, thats frustrating ,to say the least! he's lucky he doesnt get choked!!

Anyone buying sprint car parts should always check with Jocko's Sprint Parts in Des Moines, IA. Phone # 1-877-564-1204
I have never found anyone else that could beat their prices. They almost always have anything a guy would need to race and if they don't have it, they will let you know so that you can make other plans.
Jockos Sprint Parts is a credit to the sport and should be considered anytime you need new parts. I bet there are very few racers in central Iowa or Knoxville regulars that haven't been helped by them when they were crashed out and probably done for the season when Jockos stepped up and got them back on track.

Which payment method did you use? If you paid by credit card, contact your card company, tell them that you did not receive what you ordered, and that you're disputing the charges with a non-responsive vendor. Be sure to provide dates and times of your contacts, both successful and ignored, to your card company. And be sure to notify 56 that you're disputing the charges until they start communicating better with you...And be sure to notify your card company by phone and by mail of your issue
And if you paid by check, I'd file a claim in small claims court to recoup all of my costs(both sets) for the incorrect parts. Chances are, 56 will ignore the claim, and you'll get a judgement against them. But good luck collecting......
And be sure to call the Better Business Bureau and lodge a complaint about 56, too.
You're going to have to invest some time and effort, but hopefully, you'll get some results.....

I bought tire racks from 56 Racing on Ebay. Paid by paypal instant payment. One showed up 3 weeks later and the other showed up 4 1/2 weeks later. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Thanks guys for the help. I called winters today and told them what was going on and they took care of the problem no question asked. Is that so hard 56 two new LR birdcages on the way. Thanks Winters, Great people to deal with.

if you paid by paypal you can file a claim through them as well and they will tie up his paypal account for the amount in question i have seen 56 racing parts on ebay and have wondered how he can be selling things as cheap as he has been like the birdcages i think they were 140.00 for a new set and so you know i know what i am talking about on ebay and paypal my ebay id is huntinfrek

Although I admit that I am far from perfect, & I will be the first to say that as I have had some deals that are far from perfect & even owe a couple of people money that should have been payed long ago. I almost always do the right thing in the end even if it takes me a while to get there.

Sounds like you are a con artist. I to have sold on ebay for 9 yrs and when i make a mistake i pay the shipping. I just feel the customer should not have to be out for my mistake. As you i am not perfect but i do make it right as soon as posssible. I have over 4000 postive feedback and feel i know how to take care of a customer unlike your self.
People or sellers like you are what hurts racing and ebay.

No the first time he e-mailed us & said that he had received two lefts, so we sent him two rights at our expense. Now he says that he received four rights & wants us to send two lefts. So our response is: SEND US BACK EVERYTHING & WE WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY MINUS SHIPPING.
His last e-mail to us was threatening to Slander uusin every chat room known to man. Once again my response: God Bless You, Do what you think is right.

i have been standing in front of a car and asked someone to take off the left front tire and had them go to the RF and start to take it off. maybe the person pulling parts don't know what side is what!

i had trouble with this same guy a few years ago. its not a very good business, from what i can see he has no inventory, your order, then he orders and drop ships the stuff to you thus the reason for the delay.
