The rain that washed out the Friday program went away early Saturday morning and JPM put on a reorganized program for Sat. that consisted of a pill draw for all the entrants into 7 heat races which paid points, then main events based on the points from E thru A. The track texture was good but there developed holes at both ends and resulted in a crash fest with numerous flips and spins.

For the A Main, Wayne Johnson, Brent Kaeding, Sean Becker and Kyle Larson transferred out of the B with Sean coming from a 15th place start in the B and Kyle a 9th place start.

In the A, the mayhem continued to the extent that at the checkers, there were only 12 of the original 24 still running. Of those, 2 were 2 laps down, 2 more were a lap down, for a total of 8 on the lead lap.

Congrats to Jonathan Allard and the Williams Zero Heros on surviving a number of upsets in the Turn 4 hole, among others, that had tripped many others to come through for their first Fall Nationals title.

Congrats to Jon on a well-earned victory - especially in light of his brother's big wreck in warmups earlier, off of T3 (Stephen was okay but did not return to start the B-main). It seemed like it'd take an eternity to get there - the first seven laps of the A were marred by the three red flags for the flips and a couple of yellows.

Also got to hand it to the Gevings for getting Alissa back on track after a big flip in the warmup laps, the team worked hard to fix up the #3x in time for the feature despite the damaging wreck (though its effects would linger throughout the A). Not to mention that Gary's post-race dinner spread is really delicious, as usual.
