CRA SPRINTS RETURN TO THE PAS SATURDAY; JONES SEEKS 4TH STRAIGHT AFTER SATURDAY'S TRIUMPH
SEPTEMBER 29, 2008--- Defending Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Champ Tony Jones of Norco, Calif. will try to become the first driver in Lucas Oil USAC/CRA history to win four straight races at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway Saturday when the series continues at the 1/2-mile dirt oval.
Jones scored his third consecutive PAS feature victory in Saturday night's 30-lap feature. He passed Danny Sheridan on lap 15 and led the rest of the way in his Alexander Trucking/La Villa Restaurant DRC/J&D Performance machine to beat Sheridan, Blake Miller, Rickie Gaunt and series point leader Mike Spencer.
Gaunt led the first 11 laps and Sheridan the next three before Jones moved into the lead on lap 15.
Spencer remains atop the series standings with a 109-point edge over Miller going into Saturday's racing program.

SCRA Daytime Race at Tulare on 4/4/04, 1st Race I had seen since 1991, Kruseman Won In The Alexander #4 taking The Lead on the 4th lap in the 4th turn for His 4th Win of the Year.

Amazing statistics. "The Open Wheel Cowboy to the front!" (my best Scott D. impersonation)
"Ralphie, Senor, muchas gracias por una mas cerveza" -

".... AND HERE COMES JONES! Man, he set up that slide job under the K&N Fliter sign in turn 2."
There is my Scott D. impersonation.

LOL... I am addicted to www.racewayvideo.com, the CRA Sprints, PAS and Tony J... so I couldn't help it.
I have every video now from 2006 to current. Scott Daloisio is awesome to listen to, best damn announcer I ever heard bar none. He gets in the sponsors right on cue, every chance he gets with class; not irritating you like Michael Waltrip.
