Saturday Night September 20 th Enid started their new promotion reminding everyone that the reason some people are not happy with the track this year. IS BECAUSE ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR. I was told over the loud speaker at every yellow flag, restart and intermission. We were told that some fans may leave upset on Saturday Night and then realize by the next weekend that the racetrack was right. BECAUSE ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR. As I watched my pride and joy TOMMY BOHNSTEDT driver of pure stock 06 A-Feature race the announcer explained that even though TOMMY was leading a restart that he was put back to 3rd spot, because he jumped. ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR. As I set there and watched my son come from 3rd to 1st and win his 3RD A-feature win of this year. I realized that his first 2-A-FEATURE WINS came and gone without his picture being put in the program!! THERE MUST BE SOME MISTAKE !! BECAUSE ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR. I went to the pressbox and viewed my opinion. HELLO I would be happy to provide a picture of TOMMY BOHNSTEDT the 17 year old POINT LEADER in the PURESTOCK DIVISION. (In a not so nice way) After I shared my opinion as LOUD AS I COULD. I reminded everybody as I left the pressbox ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR. I stood and waited for my escorts (ENID SECURITY GUARDS) to walk me down the stairs. And of course they had every right to. BECAUSE ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR. For all of the TOMMY BOHNSTEDT race fans that ask what happened? I just wanted them to know its OK. BECAUSE ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR.

Preach On!!!! Apparently you all dont suck up enough! Seriously thats what has been happening at Enid. The officials and promoter have there own little click of drivers and friends. If your not close and kiss some @$$ then you might as well go somewhere else. But I guess I cant say much cause your right "ENID SPEEDWAY IS ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR" LOL yeah right. Ive seen many post on here of there flag man from one of the corners trying to pick fights with people. Real mature! They wonder why there car count is shrinking week after week, its not because of fuel prices guys, you run a sorry show and dont take care of your race track and drivers. When a modified A main last 30 mins and only starts with 10 maybe 12 cars.....thats a problem. Wise up and treat everyone the same in every aspect at the race track. Robin I am that corner flagman and my daughter is dating your son Tommy. I have to say I like the crap out of that young man he is so polite when he is at my house and my son Chase would love to have his photo taken with Tommy with his trophy, Thanks Jimmy Minter. As for the other post yes that was me. But there is alot more to this story then alot of people are awere, I dont want to run someone in the ground he is my daughters step father and alot of things have happened. Im not going to say anymore about this right now.

Robin I just talked to the guy who takes the photos and he said he will make sure Tommys car or something is on the program it most likley wont be this weekend because the street stock nationals but look for it the next week, Thanks

What you said is wrong, Tommy is one of my friends and he dont kiss my ass. If I make a call friend or not it is going to be fair. The hardest part about being a corner flagman is making a call on a friend but you have to do your job. I dont know who made the call on Tommy but he proved he can drive and he WON.

My main point was that Enid doesnt treat everybody equally. Tommys mom had to take things into her own hands to get him on the program. He should have been recognized way before that and put on there. Your right I dont know the whole story about what was goin on with the fighting deal. All I know is what I read. But Enid isnt about being fair and treating everyone equal, they havent been that way all year. The drivers (like Tommy) that deserve to be recognized arnt because the dont kiss ass. Thats all I'm sayin. They need to pay attention to what is really going on and show more support to everyone, not just a select few.

Where did you read about a fight? Tommy is a friend of mine. I dont know why his photo was not in the past programs, but I talked to the track photo taker and problem is fixed, Thanks

I would like to Thank everyone for standing up for Tommy and I in this situation. Special Thanks to Corner Flagman (Jimmy Minter) your a stand up guy. I knew you would be because Tommy likes you. Last Saturday when I walked down the stairs with (ENID SECURITY GUARDS) I knew I cost Tommy his Championship. I knew someone was going to pay for what I said in the pressbox and it was going to be the one that meant the most to me. Sunday morning when Tommy got up I apoligized to him. He said it was OK it was worth it for him to have his Mom backing him up. As for all those that was in the pressbox Saturday night Sept. 20th I am very SORRY, When I walked into the pressbox I was Tommy's mom. But during my speach I turned into ONE CRAZY WOMAN. You had to witness me lose my mind and I am SORRY for that.

To Lonnie Coville who told Joe to keep his wife out of his pressbox!!! OH HONEY, YOU CAN LOCK THE DOOR AND BOARD UP THE WINDOWS BUT IF I WANT IN YOU CAN'T KEEP ME OUT!!!!! I have spent more than 25 years supporting ENID SPEEDWAY and now I will never walk up those stairs again. As for the security guards that trash talked me all the way down the stairs. Who did their very best to get me to hit them so they could put me in hand cuffs and take me to jail. (I have always believed that the POLICE WAS ALWAYS RIGHT UNDER EVERY CIRCUMINANCE) BUT NOT NOW when I am doing everything that is asked of me and you are still running your mouth. You just opened my eyes.(for that I thank you)!!!!!!!! FANS THE NEXT TIME YOU WATCH SOMEONE BEING TAKEN OUT OF THE STANDS AND THEY KEEP TURNING AROUND AND SCREAMING. DON'T BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE. BECAUSE THE TRASH THEY ARE TALKING IS ONLY HEARD BY THE PERSON THEY ARE TAKING OUT!!!!!!!! FANS WATCH CLOSE FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS WATCH 06-PURESTOCK DRIVER TOMMY BOHNSTEDT. BECAUSE ENID SPEEDWAYS ACTIONS WILL SHOW IF THEY ARE ALL ABOUT BEING FAIR!!!!!

Robin THANKS for what you said about me. You are a very good mother and you have a wonderful son. Tommy WILL win the championship that he has worked so hard for. Dont worry about anyone making a bad call on him, he will be OK. I cant say alot about what went on in the press box, I was not up there. But to me you are a GREAT MOM that knows how to raise a fine young man. Thanks Jimmy Minter

Hello,

Just to let everyone know Tommy did make the program on October 4th . It was a small picture on of his car on the front cover that didn't even have his name as the driver. On October 18th the program had Tommy's picture in it with a very small mention of him leading the points for CHAMPIONSHIP in the Purestock division. He told me that Cheryl Licklider interviewed him for the featured driver for the Enid paper and next weeks program at the winter nationals. I am PROUD TO ANNOUNCE TOMMY BOHNSTEDT WON the PURESTOCK CHAMPIONSHIP. I am very PROUD of him and would like to thank everyone for their support. Check out the article in the Enid news paper tomorrow (Monday October 20th) I am very interested to see how that goes.

We will see you next year at the races (NOT AT ENID SPEEDWAY) . Watch for both my boys Randy Bohnstedt-48 and Tommy Bohnstedt-06 we will be racing at different tracks in Oklahoma next year they will both be driving E-Mods.

Hi, Robin I told you Tommy would win. Great Job and thanks for letting my son Chase take that photo with him. He just loves Tommy. I met you husband a couple weeks ago and have to say I know why Tommy is such a fine young man. I think the driver article about the driver comes out in the paper on tuesday or wednesday the results are in the monday paper. Im sure I cant change your mind about racing here next year but me and my family are going to miss you guys. Good luck to all you Bohnstedts were ever you do race.
