I own an auto repair shop / race shop in a commercial zoned area.
Saturday night at creek we blew a engine, so Sunday we put our spare in, fired it off & tuned it in.
Now I understand that Sunday is a day of rest for some WORKING folks, but when you race , for us its its wash & put up day, or repair day in this case.
Oh yea!! engine sounds good, rev it up again. Cool we are ready to race again.
Then to my surprise stands this guy yelling "would you stop reving that motor" I guess we were disturbing the guests at our neighbourhood Salvation army.
Now I know that race engine is a bit louder than our normal work, but its still in my line of WORK.
Maybe I should just close the shop down and get in line for free food and shelter.
Of course we all laughed about it, told the guy we was done, here 's some earplugs to pass out to your roomies, now get some rest.
elbows up...stand on it hard.., & get that win!!

Shoulda gave him the finger instead of the earplugs. lol
I run a shop in Edmond. One night last winter we painted a pickup for my daughter. The cops showed up just as we were getting ready to go. Their was a bunch of people in the neighborhood down wind from our shop and a bunch of cops looking for a meth lab. Was pretty funny to see the look on that cop's face as we rolled with laughter.

Kevin, maybe you should vote for O-bomb-a. You most likely will not get rid of your next door neighbours, but you will probably be eligible for Gov-meant assistance in helping the poor souls find their way to even more Gov-meant assistance.
By the way, did you even offer him a Job, sweeping floors, stealing the copper from your electric panel, or nothing. I would hope you at least offered him a Bologna Sandwich, or a fresh piece of cardboard and a Sharpie.
