team velocity made the trip to watsonville's ocean speedway for another round of civil war action on a rare saturday night race for ocean speedway.
39 cars showed up and myles bishop in the cv fabricators/maclac paints/mtl manufacturing/stud welding products/escalon body/kaeding performance/charlie fisher racing engines/maxim chassis would be 33rd car out to qualify.
myles would turn a time of 12.306 which would be good enough for 18th quick.
myles bishop and the chuck cypert lead team prepped the car for heat race number 2,myles started outside front row and used his charlie fisher horsepower to run of and hide from the field.
myles would be called to draw the inversion pill for tonight,the team needed him to draw the 10 pill but as luck would have it the 6 pill came up instead so myles would start 14th.
the main event was going to be a tough race to move forward in due to track conditions being to good which makes everyone the same speed and fighting for the same groove.
myles raced back and forth with veteran racers craig smith and several others for 30 laps,ending the night with a hard fought 11th place finish.
