(Bill W) With his 410 motors ailing in the shop, Wayne Johnson is looking for a 410 ride as the World of Outlaws return to the Midwest this week and beyond. If you need a driver, Wayne is the guy! He just wants to race anywhere, anytime! He just became one of six drivers to qualify for his sixth Knoxville Nationals finale in a row after winning the preliminary feature. He also won the 360 Nationals this year, and has racked up ten wins already this season!
To contact Wayne, call 405 306-5426, or e-mail [email protected]. Thanks!
If this post isn't results, stories or something c

Bill,
He's one of six drivers to have a CURRENT streak of six or more Knoxville Nationals A Mains. The others are Steve Kinser (1978), Danny Lasoski (1990), Donny Schatz (1998), Terry McCarl (2003) and Shane Stewart (2001).
A whole bunch of drivers have made six in a row over the history of the event...twenty-seven by my count.

Wayne was on the "expected" list at CLS last Saturday but was a no-show. Now we know why! Still wondering where that 17G was....

They were planning on running the 14aj there, but as Bill reported, both motors are in the down for the rest of the year.

or ever....
Giffords last driver (Justin Henderson) was traded to Posse so he wasn't around to drive it at CLS.

Last I heard Justin's mother lived in Stillwater, Minnesota, about 20 minutes from the Cedar Lake Speedway. We had heard he would be there until this Posse deal came up.

No matter how long the list, I think it is impressive to see Wayne Johnson on the list of "current" drivers to have accomplished it. And, I bet it's likely he is the only one of the "current" ones to have done it five of the six years with the same motor.

Wayner put OLD LUCY's old ass in there and smoke the midwest. If your new Fisher bullet ain't working then quit messing with it. Put it in and get-er-done. I don't believe both motors could be down at this point. If you need a head gasket on old lucy give me a call & I'll fly down there & put it on. Otherwise put Charlies other bullet in and get-r-done!

Old Lucy is down too...it was worse than just a head gasket...so he's looking for a seat to fill!

Wayne was in Canada set to run Glenn Styres back up car at the Canadian Nationals with Scott Benic turing the wrenches but the weekend got washed out. The race has been reset for Sept. 26-27. Not sure if he will be back in 2 weeks.

Thanks staggerman. I heard that he is planning to go back to Canda. That's great. Word is that the track is second to none....fabulous facility. Hope he goes, that would be super.
